Profiled edge bedroom unit tops can be supplied in the Apex and Bella vinyl ranges with the profiled edge of the top matching the profiled edge of the doors being used. Square edged tops can be supplied in the Zurfiz range by selecting the required door and ordering as a custom size. Normal practice is to add 20mm to the depth of the carcass so that the top overlaps the door/drawer front at the front edge and then to add any extra width, if required, for a lip at the side of the unit. Back edges would normally be square with any profiling being on front or front and sides as required.
Panels can also be used as cornice on top of tall units where profiled panels would be inverted so that the profile is on the underside.
