Where Should I Store...
Apple

Fridge

Refrigerator: Up to 3 weeks.

Tip: Separate the bad apples from the good to prevent them from affecting all of your good apples.

Keep the damaged apples in a basket at room temperature (this will keep them fresh for about two days).

Take the undamaged apples and keep them cold by placing them in the fruit drawer in the fridge or in an uncovered plastic container near the back of the fridge.

As well as the need to be kept cold to stay fresh, apples need a small amount of moisture. Place a damp paper towel over the uncovered container.

Finally, monitor the temperature of the refrigerator fruit drawer if possible (the ideal temperature is -1.1 to 1.7 degrees celsius) and keep an eye on your apples!

Remember to store apples away from all other fruit and veg to prevent premature ripening of all your other produce.
