Where Should I Store...
Bacon

Fridge

Refrigerator: 2 weeks (unopened), 1 week (open)

Freezer: 1 month

Tip: To keep the bacon even longer, you can cook before freezing. The bacon can be kept this way for several weeks plus it will only take about a minute to heat up when cooking.

With unopened bacon which you aren’t going to use for a while, the best thing to do is to freeze it. This can last about a month in the freezer. Remember to thaw the bacon first otherwise the ice particles will be likely to cause splatters when frying. With opened bacon, store in the fridge in a zipped plastic bag, tin foil or a closable container. Try to use within a week of opening.
