Where Should I Store...
Broccoli

Fridge

Refrigerator: A few days – 2 weeks

Freezer: Over a year

Tip: Try to get your bought broccoli into the refrigerator within 30mins.

One way of keeping broccoli fresh is to seal it in a plastic bag. Poke holes in the bag near the head of the broccoli to ensure enough air can get in, then refrigerate.

The quicker the broccoli gets in the fridge the more chance it has of lasting. Another option is to wrap the broccoli in damp paper towels or to store in a similar way to a bouquet (upwards in a glass filled with half an inch of water). Whichever method you choose, remember that it must be kept in the fridge.
