Where Should I Store...
Milk

Fridge

Refrigerator: 1 week

Freezer: 3 months

Tip: Signs of bad milk are: sour smell, thick/clumpy texture, off-white/yellow tinge to the colour.

Milk must be kept refrigerated at all times. The best place to store milk is in the main body of the fridge (rather than the fridge door, which is too warm). You can also keep milk fresh for longer by adding a pinch of salt to the carton. It’s also possible to freeze milk, although this is more for baking purposes rather than for drinking purposes. If freezing, use an airtight container and leave a few inches from the top as the milk will expand. Thaw in the refrigerator and plan to use within 2-3 days.
