Where Should I Store...
Onions

Food Cupboard

Food cupboard: 2 months (whole)

Refrigerator: 4 days (cut)

Tip: Choose somewhere where it is between 4-10 degrees celsius in temperature. If it’s too warm, they will start to sprout; too cold and they will start to rot.

Onions should be stored in a cool, dark place. Make sure there is enough space around them for air to circulate. Make sure the chosen storage area is kept dry as onions easily absorb moisture.

You can also store your onion in tights! Tie a knot between each onion. When needed, take from the bottom, making sure to cut below the knot in order to keep the onion above it secure. This method not only evaporates any moisture quickly but will allow them to breathe properly.
