Tip: Ensure the fridge temperature is above 0 degrees celsius otherwise the spinach may freeze.
Spinach should be stored in a plastic bag in the fridge. Make sure not to place anywhere near fruits such as bananas or apples which produce ethylene as this can make the spinach decay. For freezing, just wash, paper towel dry and transfer into freezer bags (remember to squeeze the air out).
Don’t wash spinach before you are ready to use it, as the moisture will cause it to spoil quickly.
