About Us
Established in April 2003, Lark and Larks Ltd was formed by two brothers wanting to utilise their expertise and knowledge of kitchens, bedrooms and their carpentry and joinery skills to benefit others. The main aim of this small, friendly family business is to provide a personal service managed by the brothers from start to finish.
At an arranged free on site survey we will visit your home to get an accurate idea of your needs and requirements and you can browse a selection of samples, brochures and swatches to pick colour and style of units, doors and handles. We also offer a free 3D kitchen and bedroom design service. Following this; you will then receive a written no obligation estimate, free of charge.
Contract Kitchen fitters
We are a small family business with over 36 years of experience in the home improvement sector ranging from carpentry and joinery as our base skills together with kitchen, bedroom and PVCU installation including extensive product knowledge partnered with excellent customer service and care.
We have built our business from scratch and have grown locally and also nationally fitting fully fitted kitchens and kitchen makeovers all over the UK. Most of our local projects have come to us through customer recommendations. We also offer a supply only service, supplying nationally made to measure kitchen and bedroom components to the domestic and trade market, both of which have been growing rapidly since 2004 when we first launched.
And not just domestic kitchens. Lark & Larks have a wide range of experience as contract kitchen fitters – fitting commercial kitchens in restaurants, cafes, schools and offices throughout the UK. Designing contract kitchens requires a deep understanding of the way that commercial kitchens work and the quality and durability of materials that are required in a busy kitchen.
Over the last four years we have been involved in commercial contract work with several companies including FLUOR who undertake the maintenance of the offices of the Highways Agency. Our commercial works includes general maintenance, yearly service checks and general grounds maintenance for a large Highways Agency site. We also cover general building works such as painting, joinery, plastering, electrical and plumbing. We have also managed larger successful projects from office partitioning to large building works.
How we work
Book an appointment
If you are interested in arranging an appointment for one of our experienced surveyors to visit you at your home to discuss your requirements and advise you on any information that you may need, you can do this by telephone or email. Alternatively, if you would like to visit our showroom for some ideas you can just pop in and see us. We will then start work on designing the perfect kitchen or fitted bedroom for you, including all your needs and requirements. A comprehensive quotation will be sent out to you free of charge, without any obligation.
Second visit
Once you have received the quotation and you are happy with the details we will then arrange a second visit. During the second visit, final measurements will be taken and all details will be thoroughly checked.
Order
On our second visit from you a deposit will be required, all materials can then be ordered and manufactured ready for your new fitted kitchen or bedroom.
Installation
You will then receive a call from us to organise installation. Installation will be organised on a convenient date and time to fit with you, together with a time scale of works. The brothers will be available to you throughout this whole process to make sure you are happy with all works. Once you are completely satisfied that your kitchen is finished to the highest standard the final payment will be required.
