We recently had the pleasure of working with Lark & Larks on three significant renovation projects: a walk-in wardrobe, an upstairs bedroom wardrobe, and a custom-designed home bar. For our walk-in wardrobe, we envisioned a timeless, traditional Shaker style in a soft, natural colour that would create a serene and cohesive aesthetic. One of the standout features is the beautifully integrated dressing table space and a central island with drawers on both sides, perfectly tailored to meet our storage needs. This central island, topped with elegant glass, adds a touch of refinement to the space while offering functional storage on both sides.

We were particularly thrilled with the clever ‘his and hers’ split, which allowed us to utilise the space efficiently and accommodate both of our storage preferences. Lark & Larks also incorporated brilliant storage solutions for our ties, scarves, and watches, transforming how we organize our accessories. Every inch of the wardrobe was thoughtfully designed to enhance both its practicality and its visual appeal, making this walk-in wardrobe a true luxury in our home.

Moving upstairs, we needed to address a unique challenge with our bedroom wardrobe: the sloping ceiling. Lark & Larks rose to the occasion, designing floor-to-ceiling wardrobes that maximize every bit of available space. The perfectly aligned panels give the wardrobe a sleek, seamless look, and the internal drawers provide ample storage without compromising on aesthetics. What truly impressed us was how they ensured the bedroom wardrobe matched the style and finish of our walk-in wardrobe, creating a sense of continuity between the two spaces. This attention to detail gave both rooms a connected, cohesive feel that we absolutely love.

Lastly, the home bar they created has become a real showpiece in our home. We wanted a space that was functional yet stylish, and Lark & Larks delivered on both fronts. We chose a light-coloured painted solid Ash traditional door with a unique step-out design in the middle to accommodate deeper units for our under-counter fridges. This added depth without sacrificing style. The addition of mirrored sections and ambient lighting around the shelving has given the bar a sophisticated, high-end atmosphere, perfect for entertaining. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, from the lighting to the storage, ensuring that the bar not only looks fantastic but also utilises every inch of space efficiently.

The finishing touch was the quartz worktop, which is not only visually stunning but also incredibly durable—ideal for hosting gatherings and serving drinks. It elevates the entire design, making our home bar both functional and elegant.
